Lake District, Kirk Fell, Great Gable, Green Gable from Honister.

The plan for a wild camp fell through due to car trouble and an RAC call out so I was destined for the campsite at Seatoller for the night, day 2 with the car fixed saw me heading up to the NT car park next to Honister Slate Mine to try again but without the wild camp.

North Wales, Creigiau Gleision, Craig Wen, Crimpiau from Llyn Crafnant.

Parked at Llyn Crafnant located just to the north of Capel Curig I headed up through the plantation towards Creigiau Gleision and then carried on to see how far I would get in my allotted time span.

North Wales, Carnedd Llewellyn from Gwern Gof Isaf in the Ogwen Valley.

Parking today is at Gwern Gof Isaf Farm/Campsite, two quid for the day with the intention of climbing Carnedd Llewellyn then heading over to Carnedd Dafydd and descending via the east ridge of Pen yr Ole Wen.

Peak District, Kinder Scout from Edale

A short trip up onto Kinder Scout today via Ringing Roger, over to the eastern end, cutting back across the plateau then heading over to the Wool Packs and returning to Edale via Jacob's Ladder. The weather deteriorated during the day.

North Wales, Moel Meirch and Llyn Edno from Llyn Gwynant.

Having camped at Llyn Gwynant Campsite I decided to leave the car there and have a wander over to the Moelwyns, not that high but have wanted to explore the area for a while now, glad I did.
