The views up Ogwen Valley more than compensate.

Looking down Cwm Eigiau from Penywaun wen.
Ffynnon Llyffant below Llewellyn.
Ffynnon Llugwy from near the summit of Carnedd Llewellyn.
On the way over now to Carnedd Daffyd.
And then Pen yr Ole Wen.
Ffynnon Lloer from up high. The East ridge of Pen yr Ole Wen can be seen to the right.
Looking back to Carnedd Daffyd from Pen yr Ole Wen.

Tricky bit on the descent but not as bad as it looks.

Tryfan again sticking it's head into the clouds.
Almost down at the road back in the Ogwen Valley leaving the Carneddau behind.
Climbers on Little Tryfan seen from the path back to Gwern Gof Isaf.
