Peak District, Black Hill from the butty van to Marsden returning to Wessenden Head.

Parked up at the butty van on the A635 (free) and walked up to Black Hill then from there down to Marsden on the old Pennine Way path and back up the Wessenden Valley calling at Raven Rocks & West Nab before returning to the parking area.

From the summit I turned sharp right and headed along the original Pennine Way path, it must have been soul destroying on here in bad weather and I can understand why it was re-routed.

After crossing the A635 again I made my way across the moor heading towards Marsden on this paved pathway.

Approaching Redbrook Reservoir, I turn right just before the Reservoir towards Marsden.
