6 Hours.
2 of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks today in good weather.
Plenty of free parking at Ribblehead.
And off we go at a blistering pace along the path up to Whernside.
Plenty of people on the ridge close to the summit.
PW on the top of Whernside.
After some snap and a well earned rest after the very swift ascent of Whernside, a little over one hour, me with a bad knee as well and at my age we headed off down and towards the next hill, Ingleborough.
Looking back towards Whernside.
After stopping at the cafe for refreshments we headed off towards Ingleborough.
Ingleborough summit.
Looking down towards Gaping Gill where they were busy diverting the stream for the forthcoming bank holiday tourist trips into the cave.
From the summit of Ingleborough we headed off down towards Simon Fell.
Edge of Simon Fell.
And then Park Fell.
And then back to the Station Inn at Ribblehead for a Shandy and pork pie before heading off home.
