Scotland, Stob Ban

A lovely walk up to the summit of Stob Ban with the weather holding for most of the day.

The short journey from the camp site to the car park was interesting.

Camped at the Glen Nevis campsite the plan was to go up the tourist track and cut off left at the half way lochan which isn't, well, half way and then tackle Ben Nevis by the Carn Mor Dearg Arete. That was the plan.

North Wales, Y Garn and the Glyders

Decided to include Y Garn in my foray onto the Glyders. should have really gone up via the east ridge of Y Garn but as the weather wasn't too good I opted to ascend via The Devil's Kitchen as I had done this before.

North Wales, Snowdon Horseshoe

Glorious day for the Snowdon Horseshoe. Got the Sherpa bus up to Pen y Pass from the campsite at Nantgwynant in the morning saving hefty car parking charges.

Good job really as it was pretty full anyway.

Off we go up the Pyg track.

Peak District, Margery Hill from Fairholmes.

5 Hours.

From the visitor Center at Fairholmes there runs a shuttle bus up to Kings Tree as the road is closed at weekends.
From the bus I headed to Slippery Stones and then up Cut Gate and turned right towards Margery Hill.
