7hrs.
Parked up at Abergwyngregyn (free) and walked up through the village to the start of the walk at Aber Falls on a very overcast morning.
Pay and display parking at Aber Falls.
Aber Falls, there is a path to the left over the scree and up the to the left of the falls.
This plaque is just over the style as you leave the path leading to Aber Falls and takes you up the scee.
Looking back down the valley over the scree towards Abergwyngregyn and the Irish Sea.
At the top of the falls.
A little further.
More falls and no people, only saw two others all the way to the top of the valley.
Looking over to Foel Fras with wild horses dotted over the slopes.
Last look down the valley before Garnedd Uchaf.
Garnedd Uchaf.
Foel Fras from Garnedd Uchaf.
Foel Grach from Garnedd Uchaf, might head over there tomorrow.
Today however I was heading in the opposite direction to Foel Fras. The summit.
Off to Drum next, over there, center right of picture.
From Drum looking back to Foel Fras.
After retracing my steps for a while I found a faint path leading down to Llyn Anafon and it's service road.
And more wild horses.
The service road winding down the valley.
Leaving the Carneddau. The hill behind the plaque is Foel Dduarth.
From here it was back down to Abergwyngregyn where it started to rain after being very overcast but dry all day.
The free car park just off the A55 and before you enter the village.
And then back to the hotel at Caernarfan, fish and chips for tea, sunset over The Menai Stait and ale.
Jubbly.
