Yorkshire Dales, Malham Dale Wander

A wander round Malham Dale.
5 hrs.

Parked up at the free car park above Malham near Malham tarn and started on a path that leads to Arncliffe.
Pendle Hill to the left in the distance.

At this sign I decided to change direction and head for Weets Top high above Gordale Scar.
Up there...
The old Saxon cross marking Weets Top.
And the new Trig Point.
From Weets Top I headed down to the single track road leading down to Gordale Scar.
Gordale Scar and the campsite.
From the Scar as it started to rain I walked along the road to Malham and The Cove, should really have took the path by Janet's Foss, much nicer.
Malham Cove.
Looking towards Malham from the Limestone Pavement at the top of the Cove.
Looking back down Watlowes Valley.
Almost back at the car and you can see how wet and overcast it has become.
