A quick look at the priory before we set off.

Crossing the Wharfe by the bridge not the stepping stones.

To the right into the Valley of Desolation.

Waterfall.

Leaving the plantation and heading out onto Barden Fell.

Looking back towards the plantation.

At Simon's Seat 485m.

Looking over to Lord's Seat.

Not very often you get this close to a grouse.

A steep descent from Simon's Seat leads down to Dalehead Farm and the road down to the river.

A quick visit to Barden Tower near to Barden Bridge.

Further down river now at The Strid, care needed here.

The Abbey through the trees.

Back at the Abbey and yep he turned back and crossed by the bridge :)
