Lake District, the Scafells & Slight Side from Eskdale.

Both the Scafells today returning to Eskdale via Slight Side.

Scafell from Scafell Pike.
Start of the walk looking ahead to Esk Pike.
Lingcove Bridge.
Cam Spout with the way up on the right, an easy scamble.
Stretcher box and Broad Stand.
Scafell Pike as busy as ever.
Looking back down into Eskdale and the route up.
Down at the acsent route to Foxes Tarn below Scafell.
Err.....Foxes tarn.
Scafell Summit Cairn looking over to Scafell Pike.
Burnmoor Tarn down below.
On my way down to Slight Side.
Looking back up to Slight Side after the descent.
Back down in Eskdale.
A quick visit to Hardknott Roman Fort whilst in the vicinity, Hardknott Pass can be seen winding it's way up the hillside.
