Mynydd Mawr from Rhyd Ddu today, has the potential to be a great circular walk.

I followed this path down over the summit.

Looking back to Craig Cwm Du.

Emerging from a plantation to reveal Llyn Cwellyn.

The bad bit, I had to walk on the A4085 to the campsite at the end of Llyn Cwellyn where I could re-enter the plantation track back to the car.

Good view from the road though.
