Lake District, Looking for Napes Needle on Great Gable.

Set off from Seathwaite in search of Napes Needle on Great Gable on another glorious day.

7hrs.

Napes Needle.
Stockley Bridge about a km from Seathwaite.

Styhead Tarn stretcher box.
On the flanks of Great Gable looking down to Styhead Tarn.
Great Gable.
The Scafells from Great Gable summit.
Wasdale & Wastwater.
Napes Needle after descending the steep scree slopes on the west face of Great Gable.
I followed the traverse path back to Styhead Tarn, crags in abundance round here.
Then a quick visit to Sprinkling Tarn, Great Gable and Green Gable(right) in the background.
The return path was to pass Taylorgill Force instead of going back over Stockley Bridge.
Seathwaite Farm Campsite.
