Brid to Flamborough and back.
6hrs.
Heading into Brid having found a free parking spot seeing as the park and ride was closed till April.
I hurried through.
Better, coastline to Flamborough Head.
On the cliff top looking back to Brid.
And it's a cracking day.
Old pillbox from the war.
Looking back to Brid.
Approaching South Landing.
Can't recall but I think this had something to do with the Church.
South Landing, Beacon Hill.
First view of the Light House at Flamborough Head.
Low sun on the cliff tops.
Light House.
Radar Station.
The most dramatic part of the walk is from the Light House to the North Landing.
Selwicks Bay.
Selwicks bay and Radar Station.
Looking Back.
Plenty of bird watchers around today.
The tower on the right is the origional Flamborough Light House.
Approaching North Landing.
North landing with Bempton Cliffs in the distance.
From the North landing I headed into Flamborough which seemed to be closed apart from the pubs and the Co-op, ah well.
Past the memorial, respects paid.
St Oswald's Church in Flamborough.
Heading towards Dyke wood.
Dyke Wood before rejoining the coastal path.
Back on the coastal path heading back to Bridlington with the light fading.
On the beach looking back to Flamborough.
And to Brid.
More coastal defense remains.
Lights on.
At the harbour in Brid watching the fishing boats returning and unloading their catches in the twilight.
And then off home.
