Lake District, High Street, Kidsty Pike.

High Street and Kidsty Pike from Haweswater.

7hrs.
The parking area at the roads end, Haweswater and free.
I is going up there somewhere.
On my way now and looking back to Haweswater.
Plenty of water flowing down the beck.
Arrival at Small Water, nice.
On the path around Small Water I passed three stone shelters, not quite sure about the origin of them.
Leaving Small Water.
Very near the snowline looking back down towards Small Water and Haweswater.
At the top of the pass looking down to Kentmere Reservoir and III Bell.
Leaving another stone shelter at the top of the pass I head up towards High Street.
On the white stuff now with a better view of Small Water and Haweswater.
Fairly easy to follow the path through the snow with the help of the odd cairn to keep me on track.
A deserted Racecourse Hill on High Street.
Looking back up High Street.
A glimpse of Haweswater through a break in the cloud.
Looking back to the bottom of High Street on my may to Dale Head.
At Dale Head looking back towards High Street.
Approaching Kidsty Pike.
High Street from Kidsty Pike.
Retracing my steps now towards High Street.
Ringingdale from Dalehead.
Thornthwaite Crag I think?
Heading back up High Street with the clouds clearing.
III Bell.
Harter Fell.
Haweswater.
One last Look at III Bell before heading back down the path to Small Water and the path down to the car at Haweswater.
A good day that.
