First time on the Carnedds away from the crowds that frequent the Glyders and Tryfan.

Hutton Le Hole, Rosedale, Lastingham

Off to the North York Moors starting at Hutton Le Hole.

Starting from the car park head up the lane where the path shortly goes of to the left taking onto the Spaunton Estate.

Peak District, Alport Moor, Bleaklow, B29 Crash Site.

A wander over snowy Alport Moor and onto Bleaklow leading eventually to the B-29 Superfortress Crash Site. The plane came down in 1948 near Higher Shelf Stones.

Lake District, Catbells & High Spy

After a tough day yesterday I opted for an easy ramble up Catbells and finished up on High Spy looking on towards Dale Head.

Parking is difficult but can be found on the roadside that skirts Catbells although you need to get there early.

A short walk from the car and we're off.

Lake District, Crinkle Crags & Bowfell from Langdale

From New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in Langdale, Pike of Blisco, crinkle Crags and Bowfell.

I parked about half a mile back up the road at New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel where they open up a field for cheaper than the official car parks, four quid for the day. Plenty of car parking to be had though in Langdale.
