East Coast, Spurn Point

A bit of a short wander around Spurn point today after calling at Hull for a bite to eat and then calling at Humber Bridge on the way home.

On Anglesey today for a short walk over to Llanddwyn Island from Newborough Forest.

North Wales, Y Garn North East Ridge from Ogwen Cottage.

A trip up Y Garn today from Ogwen Cottage in lots of snow which made for hard going at times but enjoyable nevertheless. the windchill at height however was painful.

Peak District, Kinder Scout from Edale.

Kinder Scout via Jacob's Ladder and Kinder Downfall from Edale on a cold and frosty morning.

Yorkshire Dales, Ingleborough from Clapham.

From the parking area at Clapham, either road side or car park I followed the Ingleborough Cave signs and then turned left at the paid nature trail entrance and took this track that borders the trail and is just as interesting to emerge at Ingleborough Cave.

Lake District, Dove crag to Red Screes from Brothers Water.

From Brothers Water at the bottom of Kirkstone Pass I took the path up to Dove Crag and then over to Red Screes, down to the Kirkstone Pass Inn and then down the Pass back to Brothers Water.
