On Anglesey today for a short walk over to Llanddwyn Island from Newborough Forest.
More info on Llanddwyn Island here.
3hrs.
Parking area in the heart of Newborough Forest.
On the way down to the beach.
On the beach looking to Llanddwyn Island.
Looking past the lava rocks over to the Mountain ranges of North Wales.
Sea King on it's way to Raf Valley.
Memorial Cross?
Canon used to summon lifeboat crews from the cottages.
Which are no longer occupied although one has been turned into a visitor center and museum but was locked today.
Another cross and second lighthouse/beacon.
Lots of birds on these outcrops.
No more land.
I could live there.
Lovely.
Leaving the Island and it's ruined church and wild horses grazing on the grass, no-one lives here and I wonder why as I head back along the beach and through the forest back to the car.
