Peak District, Kinder Scout from Edale.

Kinder Scout via Jacob's Ladder and Kinder Downfall from Edale on a cold and frosty morning.

Following the Pennine way at Upper Booth.

Downfall....

From Kinder Downfall we set off to cross the frozen plateau. Kinder Gates.

The highest point at 636m we think.

The sun with it's halo caused by ice crystals acting as prisms according to google :)

Safely off the plateau and now at Grindslow Knoll.

Heading over to Grinds Brook where we would descend back down towards Edale.

Almost at the bottom of Grinds Brook with the light fading.

Back in Edale we called for swift pint in The Rambler Inn before heading off home.
